Location & Setting
Sorobon Luxury Beach Resort sits on the eastern shore of Bonaire, one of the few accommodations on that side of the island. The resort offers direct access to Lac Bay, a protected lagoon known as one of the world's top windsurfing spots. Guests wake up to panoramic views of the bay and its turquoise waters, with shallow water extending far out.
Accommodations
The resort offers 30 beachfront cottages, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and soundproof rooms. These private Beach Houses are designed for comfort, with some offering kitchenettes and outdoor showers. Room service and daily housekeeping are provided, and guests can choose from villas with sea view or ocean-front options.
Dining
The on-site Reef Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using fresh produce from the resort's own in-house greenhouse. A la carte breakfast is included, and guests can order creative dishes alongside cocktails and fine wines. Private dining is available on the beach, in the Beach Houses, or at the Beach Dock upon request.
Wellness & Activities
The resort has an in-house spa offering massages, body polishes, and couples massage options. Guests can join yoga classes on-site or use the all-natural gym handcrafted from reclaimed materials. Exclusive wellness offerings include continuous Halo therapy, and spa/wellness packages are available.
Water Sports
The Dunkerbeck Pro Center, located on the property, offers windsurfing lessons for all levels in Lac Bay's shallow, calm waters. Guests also have access to snorkeling and water sport facilities on site, with equipment rentals available. Table tennis and a kids' outdoor play equipment provide additional recreation options.
